Start your day the right way with a PUMPKIN PIE PROTEIN SMOOTHIE! Loaded with protein powder, greek yogurt, pumpkin, almond milk, and banana. Tastes just like pumpkin pie in smoothie form.
If you guys are long time followers of the blog, then you know I’m a HUGE fan of all things pumpkin. I even did an entire themed Pumpkin Week two years ago. I look forward to pumpkin pie season (is that a thing?) from when it ends (I’m in denial that it ever ends) through the end of Summer when it starts again. I have made everything from Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream to Pumpkin Pie Chimichangas. One of my favorite Pumpkin recipes I made last year were Pumpkin Pie Frosties. So delicious and fun. But…more of a calorie splurge. Definitely not breakfast material. So this year I thought I would make a healthier version perfect for breakfast, dessert, and anytime in between. The Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie for the win!
This little Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie is packed with all the good things: banana, pumpkin, greek yogurt, and almond milk. You can make it fully non-dairy by using a vegan yogurt, or keep it extra thick and creamy by using Greek yogurt. Your choice, both are great!
The other secret ingredient that makes these just the perfect way to start your day is the NEW Burt’s Bees™ Protein +Healthy Radiance! I have loved Burt’s Bees ever since I first experienced their glorious lip balm. Nothing compares. So when I caught wind they were coming out with three flavors of plant-based protein powder, I knew I had to try it. When you trust a brand that much, you try their new products. I have been LOVING the protein. It’s such an easy way to get some extra protein into your diet, while still enjoying the taste of what you’re eating! I simply mixed Burt’s Bees Protein +Healthy Radiance (Vanilla) into the blender with all the other ingredients. The result is a plussed up breakfast smoothie that tastes just like Pumpkin Pie. Is this Heaven?
If you love pumpkin as much as I do, you MUST try this Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie. Nothing but the best for my favorites in the morning!! Enjoy.
