Happy July!
Even though this year feels like it has flown by in the blink of an eye, July oddly seems like the slowest month so far. I can’t quite place why because it was just as busy for me as any other month but dude, it is slogging by.
And yet here I am with another Rebel Favorites post! As you can see, this month I have imbibed in a delicious pineapple mojito from Lazy Dog, one of my fave go-to restaurants. It was so freakin’ good. I can’t believe I’ve become such a mojito snob but I 100% own the fact that I am and I’m not going to apologize for it. It’s just that that bottled lime juice concentrate is horrid and when mojitos are already so simple in their short ingredients list, I just cannot fathom why it is used in place of fresh limes. Sorry, going on my mojito tangent again ?
This month I haven’t done a whole lot! Just working and trying to stay cool. June was such a mild month temperature-wise but July came swinging with some seriously high three-digit temps. Fourth of July was blessedly cooler than usual, but after that it went skyrocketing. Sometimes it feels too hot to go to the pool so I’ve mostly been locked up inside with the AC blasting.
As usual, here’s some of my favorite things I’m loving this month! If you have a favorite product/recipe/whatever you’d like to share, feel free to leave it in the comments!
THESE sound amazing!
Can’t get enough of corn this summer, and this pasta salad is no exception!
THIS is right up my alley.
I recently kicked my soda habit and cannot get enough of this tea. It’s truly the best, IMO.
Obsessed with all things shrimp lately!
Gotta try this for an easy summertime meal.
Just ordered the most gorgeous pair of shoes for the summer!
Wearing this all summer long. So comfy!
Is it bad that I’m looking forward to back-to-school shopping even though I’m no longer in school? These are my pick!
Okay, I am OBSESSED with this sunscreen. Lightweight, invisible and feels like nothing. I’m using it as a primer! I am in LOVE.
Also in love with these cream eye shadows which are so gorgeous. Aurora and Eclipse are my fave!
Just finished this book and enjoyed it greatly! Darkly funny and interesting and told from past and present point of view.
Reading this now and it is very interesting! I love this kinda subject matter so this is a great addition to my collection.
Looking forward to this pre-order book. One of my fave subjects deals with the death care industry so this sounds super great!
This one also sounds great!
But I think I’m reading this one next. It’s gotten rave reviews and it’s a normal departure from my usual subject matters.
I just got these padded headbands and am wearing them with everything!! They just polish up any outfit.
And as usual, I typically post a “monthly splurge” on an item where if I had the money I’d totally be buying! This month is actually reasonably priced and I love the mixed print of this dress!
Have a super great rest of July!
