Ingredients: 15 ounces black eyed peas, drained and rinsed,1/2 cup chopped cilantro,1/2 teaspoon minced garlic,3 drops hot sauce,1 The juice of lime,1 ripe roma tomato, chopped,3 tablespoons of good quality salsa verde
Instructions:

  1. Mix together all of the ingredients and allow them to sit in the refrigerator for 5 hours or overnight (if you can).It’s best if you take the bean salad out of the refrigerator about an hour before serving to bring them to room temperature.
